People leave Managers not jobs

Post by silmcoach »

An interesting comment I heard the other day. "People leave Managers, not jobs."
Hogan & Hogan (2009), authors of the Hogan Development Survey cite evidence from several authors to support their assertion that bad management practices are often associated with increased stress levels for subordinates. It is claimed that between 65% and 75% of managers in an organization can be classified as "bad."
